L1 civilisation britanniqueObjectifs
Ce cours est une introduction à l'environnement politique du Royaume-Uni avec un focus sur la période contemporaine. Il s’agit de la suite des du programme en L1 civilisation britannique sur la population et le pays. Nous allons examiner les grandes périodes politiques au Royaume-Uni depuis 1945, la communication politique, les partis politiques, les élections, ainsi que les institutions politiques telles que la monarchie, le Parlement et les assemblées régionales, puis la centralisation du pouvoir vers l’Ecosse, le pays de Galles et l’Irlande du nord dans le contexte du Brexit, et la constitution. Les étudiant.e.s seront amené.e.s à mieux comprendre les spécificités du contexte politique actuel du Royaume-Uni, pays où elles/ils pourront vivre, travailler ou communiquer avec dans un contexte professionnel.
Les CMs et les TDs ont lieu entièrement en anglais.
This course is an introduction to the political institutions of the UK. Particular attention is paid to contemporary events. All the lessons, the course brochure and exams are entirely in English. The lectures are filmed and available in iCampus.
13 lectures (CMs), lasting 1 hour. Monday, 6:30-7:30pm, BR03, Sarah Pickard.
Students are strongly advised to attend lectures.
