Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 12:30pm, and from 1:30pm to 5pm.

Sorbonne Nouvelle University has a Preventive Medecine service for students enrolled in the University, to guarantee their physical, social and psychological well-being. It is open all year round and offers free and confidential services from a team of doctors, nurses and psychologists.

  • As an international student (whether you are on an exchange program, doing an international degree or enrolled as an individual student) arriving at Sorbonne Nouvelle University, you can make a preventive visit to the University Health Service. Visits in English are possible. 
  • It offers the following services : general health examinations, visual and audiometric tests, issuance of fitness certificates for sports, issuance of medical certificates proving that you are fit for a job, handicap consultation in relation with the  Disabilities Support Service, psychological interviews, issuance of contraceptive, updating of vaccinations, assistance with smoking cessation.
The Service of Preventive Medicine does not replace a referring physician. Students are highly advised to contact the Saints-Pères Health Centres or the Health centres of the City of Paris to appoint a referring physician.

The Saints Pères Health Centre is open to students from Sorbonne Nouvelle University, and offers services reimbursed by the Social Security.

The Saints-Pères Health Centre provides the following services : consultation of referring physicians, gynecological consultation and delivery of contraceptives, dental consultation, disability consultation, visual tests, psychological care, delivery of fitness certificates for sports, issuance of « good health » certificates for a job, assistance in smoking cessation, updating of vaccinations, nutritional assessments.

The Saint Pères Health Centre can provide services in English.


Social Service for students

Two CROUS social workers are now available from Monday to Friday at the Nation Campus, in room B622 - 623. Making an appointment is mandatory, you can make one on your "Mes Services Etudiants" space or on the CROUS' website. To do so, you will need your INE number.
