Your mobility at Sorbonne Nouvelle University step by step

Orientation day and Enrolment

Orientation day for exchange students takes place at the beginning of each semester (in September and in January).
It is the opportunity for the DAI team (International Affairs Office), to present to you the Sorbonne Nouvelle University as well as the administrative steps to be takenat the beginning of your exchange.

Take note: online enrolment does not apply to you. You will have to go personally to the office after the Orientation Day meeting.
When completing the application form, you need to mention your main department. However it will still be possible to attend classes in two additional departments of studies.

If you cannot attend Orientation day, please consult the powerpoint [PDF - 2 Mo]for the general presentation.

Contrat Pédagogique (Learning agreement)

For the international programme: you don’t have to complete any learning agreement.
You are nevertheless responsible to get in touch with your Exchange Programme coordinator at your home university, in order to have  your choice of courses at Sorbonne Nouvelle University approved.

For the Erasmus programme: before the beginning of your mobility, you must have your learning agreement signed by both your academic coordinator at home and the institutional coordinator at Sorbonne Nouvelle University: Mme Isabelle Barraquand (erasmus-incoming@sorbonne-nouvelle.fr). During your exchange, changes (if any) will have to approved and signed by the academic coordinator of your main department here.

Confirmation of departure

Before your departure from Sorbonne Nouvelle University, the DAI (Direction des Affaires Internationales) will give out a leaving certificate that you will have to give to your home university (mandatory for Erasmus students). Do not forget to come to the office for the document.

 Academic Transcript

You will not receive any degree or diploma from Sorbonne Nouvelle University, but a transcript of records will be given out to allow your results to be validated when you return to your home university. You will have access to your results on your personal iSorbonne account at the end of each semester.

A pdf version of your academic transcript will be e-mailed to your home university afterwards (mid-March for the first semester and mid-July for second semester or full year).
