A University Open to the World

• International engagement has always been a key priority at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, which welcomes many international students every year. In 2022-23, 26% of the Sorbonne Nouvelle’s students were foreigners coming from 146 different countries in the world.
  
• The international strategy of Sorbonne Nouvelle aims to be consistent between research, teaching and internationalisation through its strategic partners. With 371 Erasmus+ agreements and 167 non-EU international agreements, Sorbonne Nouvelle offers numerous exchange and cooperation opportunities to its researchers, students and staff.
   
• The International Affairs Office is in charge of implementing the university’s international policy and manages international mobility programmes (Erasmus+ programmes and international exchange agreements). It provides support to the university’s faculties to develop new cooperations (international degrees, international Masters seminars, summer schools).

Within the framework of the “Welcome to France'' label, the International Affairs Office has put in place a one-stop information service for international students: the Welcome Desk. With a view to optimising the integration of international students, the Welcome Desk organises various activities to help them take full advantage of the concept of Sorbonne Nouvelle as a ‘University of Cultures’.
