Learn french at the Sorbonne Nouvelle : french language and culture Summer course
The summer French course, scheduled from June 20th to July 08th, is a 3-week course focused on learning the language through culture. It consists of 60 hours of classes completed by cultural activites (visits to museums, theaters and emblematic places related to the French-speaking world).
To develop this program, the Sorbonne Nouvelle relies on its experience in teaching French as a Foreign Language, as well as teaching Arts and Cultures. The courses are given by a team of experienced teachers.

- Maximum capacity of this course: 100 people
- Course duration: 60 hours
Lessons will take place from 9am to 1pm from Monday to Friday. Cultural outings/activities, such as visit to museums, theatres, excursions in Paris. Please note that the implementation of these activities depends on the evolution of the current health context.
These courses in Paris are an opportunity for each student to integrate fully into the French culture, to discover the french heritage offered by the city of Paris, and share a common passion with students coming from all over the world. For logistical and pedagogical reasons, it will be necessary for you to take a placement test. However, this test has no other purposes than to allow the correct organization of the course.

To enroll in the french summer courses that will be held in June/July, just follow these few easy steps:
- First, please take note of the Terms & Conditions of the Summer French Course 2022 (you wil find this document in the "Documents" section which can be found in the right-hand column of this page) ;
- Fill out and sign the registration form (see "Documents" section).
- Save the registration form on your computer ;
- Send it to us by e-mail with a copy of your ID (passport - residence permit) to the following adress : coursfrancaisdete.sfc@sorbonne-nouvelle.fr ;
- As soon as we receive these documents, we will send you the link for online payment ;
- Once the payment is made, send us the invoice that will be sent to you by e-mail ;
- Upon receipt of this invoice, we will send you the link to the online placement test ;
- At the end of the test, you will get a confirmation of registration by e-mail. The placement test will allow us to evaluate your level in French. We will not communicate the results of this test.
