ED 625 >> Formation doctorale >> Offre de la formation doctorale de l'ED MAGIIE
This seminar will explore the latest developments in translation studies. It will begin by examining the emergence of the field of Translator Studies, offering an insight into the connection between life-writing and translation studies. The second seminar will be devoted to the topic of Collaborative Translation, examining recent critical studies on the association between translators and creators (such as Samuel Beckett and Barbara Bray for instance).
The final seminar in the series will address the question of Eco-translatology, or the place of ecology in the world of translation studies. Paying particular attention to Eco-Translation the recent volume authored by Michael Cronin, we will examine the relationship between translation and the Anthropocene.
