«Internal Frontiers: Sanskrit and Persian Encounters in the Mughal Empire»
Audrey Truschke is currently finishing her PhD at Columbia University (New York City) in the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies. Her research focuses on cross-cultural interactions between members of Sanskrit and Persian literary cultures in Mughal India. She will defend her dissertation, titled "Cosmopolitan Encounters: Sanskrit and Persian at the Mughal Court," early March 2012.
